The UK Prime Minister will push supporting countries to supply Ukrainian forces with further extended-range weaponry to strike Moscow's positions during talks in London on Friday.

Britain's leader plans to receive President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside what's known as "coalition of the willing", comprising more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have agreed to offer Ukraine defense assurances once hostilities pause is negotiated.

Ukraine's president has been urging for weeks for more extended-range systems from allied countries, an action that Russia has stated would escalate the conflict.

Ukraine's leader is travelling from the EU capital, where he held talks with European Union officials on the previous day requesting funding aid.

The Prime Minister will urge delegates to expand the delivery of extended-range systems following a successful attack on a chemical plant in Bryansk, Russia, using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles.

"Additionally, his brutal assaults on innocent children in a preschool this week make that crystal clear," he added.

Several minors were part of at least seven killed in a wave of enemy assaults on the country, which hit a preschool facility in the major urban center the eastern city.
