David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Best-selling children's author and entertainer David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the publisher stated: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was reached following an review of allegations of questionable actions involving women.
The firm has not elaborated on the specific rationale behind the move, adding: "We refrain from speaking about private personnel issues."
A Prolific Literary Career
Walliams ranks among Britain's most best-selling authors for kids, having sold in excess of 60 million copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008.
Some of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.
To date, he has released more than 40 books combined, including a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.

He first rose to fame on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This development follows the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
